First BRMX Stage | Important victories for ASW Riders


The first round of the Brazilian MX Championship of 2018 happened on this weekend, 24 and 25, in Cornelio Procópio, Paraná.

Tallys Nathan, 17, was the MX2-Junior category winner for riders under 18 with 250cc bikes. The current champion of the class began the year with the right foot.

Carlos Campano got the third place in the MX1 category – 450cc motorcycles. The spanish rider crashed early in the race and had to make a comeback.

Jean Ramos was fourth in the MX1 after a solid race.

Fabio Santos was leading the MX2’s battery – 250cc bikes and riders up to 23 years old – when he had an electrical problem and stopped.

Thales Vilardi, who held the second place most of the way, had physical problems with his arms in the last 20 minutes, which led him to slow down and finish the race in 9th place.

Henrique Henicka, who ran for the junior category, made the holeshot and won the first place.

The final battery, which would unite the best of the MX1 and MX2 classes, called the Elite MX, was canceled due to bad weather.
