The 9th stage of the 2018 Motocross World Championship was played on Sunday, June 3 in Matterley Basin. The track had a very technical ground, which required skills from the riders. The jumps together with the slippery rain turned the race into a way more interesting event.
With the DRT Kawasaki support, ASW Racing established itself at the event to strengthen the connection with its new target.
The brand brought together several people to its stand to exhibit its products, explain its vision and establish the contact of the fans with the pilots, who, by the way, are very popular in the region.
“The box was full the whole weekend. The ASW participation on the MXGP was really awesome! A bunch of shops and fans of the sport came to our stand. The Dixon Racing Team is, no doubt, the mosto popular team. I’m sure thar England is already ASW’s second home.”, says Fernando Silvestre, ASW’s sales director.
With the right to advertise in the official magazine of the event and an enormous affection being developed by the local public to the brand, ASW continues to solidify its presence in Europe.
Matterley Basin is practically home for Tommy Searle, DRW Kawasaki rider sponsored by ASW. On that track he got first place in the 2012 MXGP, in the MX2 class.
With a great start and a good run on both batteries, Tommy got the 8th place in the stage, emphasizing that his performance could have been even better, if a plastic didn’t trapped in his chain distracting him.
Now the rider prepares for the next round, keeping his intensive training led by Steve Dixon, owner and team chief of DRT Kawasaki.
