Hosted in Cunha, the L’Étape event (amateur cycling race organized by Tour de France) had more than 2.000 athletes riding the 112 km course.
The event provided the inscrition for any cyclist of age that shows up with a medical certificate. The race started at 7 a.m. of this sunday (24) and the riders were at according to their body conditions.
The great highlight of the event were the ASW cycling gear kit, provided for the participants. The gear matches the quality of the ASW equipment with the design of the plastic artist Chivitz and is now available on the main brazilian bike shops.
“It was such a great experience to provide these gear kits for the L’Étape Brasil 2017. Even better was hearing the opinion of the athletes that used our equipment. The event keeps getting bigger, with 2 editions in 2018 and, in addition to that, ASW will be there.”, said Fernando Silvestro, commercial director of ASW.
Loris Verona Junior, ASW ambassador, ran the course and shared his experience with people via Instagram (@aswbike), explaining the difficulties of the race and talk about the good organization of it.
In addition to the race, the event had a lot of brand expositions. On the ASW Stand, some 2018 collection gear was being showed and an interative totem were available for product costumization.
The event gets bigger every year, as also does the crowd. At 2018, Campos do Jordão will be one of the hosting cities (the other city will be Cunha).
