The finish line was in front of the Bom Jesus do Matosinho Cathedral and the starting line was at the train station. A less than 1km track that is remarkable. The Desafio da Ladeira happened this last friday (18), at Congonhas (Minas Gerais). The track demands resistence and technique.
Veteran of the race, the runner-up Rubens Donizete saud that the results were better than he could have expected. “I planned to be on the first 5 positions. There was a moment that I couldn’t understand if my opponents were getting tired, or I was on a good rhythm. When you pass the last curve, you can see the finish line, but that doesn’t mean it’s close. I’m really happy with my results.
Guilherme Muller, Rubens’ teammate at the Sense Factory Racing Team, got the 5th place on the race.
