Cyclists showed their strength in the 2018 edition of the XCO Brazil Cup, held in the Paço Municipal de Goiânia (GO). Guilherme Muller and Rubinho Valeriano (both Sense Factory Racing riders) stood out, finishing in second and third places. Also in the top 5: Lukas Kaufmann (Cannondale Brasil Racing) and José Gabriel Marques (Team Groove XCO), in fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
“I’m happy with my performance, since I was in the final stage of a flu and the track was very demanding.”, said Guilherme Muller.
Sherman Trezza (Cannondale Brazil Racing) in sixth and Mario Couto (Sense Factory Racing) in tenth place were in the top 10 in the XCO Cup brazil.
The XCO Brazil Cup was another valid race for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Cycle on mountain bike, which began in May 2018 and lasts for exactly two years.
